3. Hosting
This website is hosted by an external service provider in Germany. Personal data collected when you visit the website is stored on its servers. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with the host.
4. Server log files
The provider automatically collects and stores information transmitted by your browser: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the request and IP address. This data is not combined with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in providing the website securely and without technical errors.
5. Cookies and local storage
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. For the language selection, a technically necessary cookie (“pll_language”, lifetime up to one year) remembers the language you chose (§ 25(2) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logged-in editors also receive the usual WordPress login cookies.
6. Fonts
All fonts are loaded locally from our own server. No connection is made to servers of Google or any other font provider.
7. Contact form
If you write to us via the contact form, your details (name, email address, subject, message) are sent to us by email so that we can handle your inquiry. The form is provided by the WordPress plugin WPForms. Entries are not stored permanently in the website’s database; the manufacturer’s backup feature (“Lite Connect”) is disabled.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your inquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is deleted once the inquiry has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.
8. Enquiries by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we store and process your inquiry, including the data it contains, to deal with your request. The same legal bases and deletion periods apply as for the contact form.
9. Protection against attacks
To protect against unauthorized login attempts, the website logs the IP addresses of failed login attempts and blocks them temporarily (plugin “Limit Login Attempts Reloaded”). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Entries are deleted automatically when the lockout expires or at regular intervals.
10. Embedded music players (Spotify)
On the pages of our music projects you can load a player from Spotify (Spotify AB, Regeringsgatan 19, 111 53 Stockholm, Sweden). The player is only loaded when you explicitly click “Load Spotify player”. Only then is a connection to Spotify established; your IP address and information about the page visited are transmitted, among other things, and Spotify may set cookies. A transfer to third countries such as the USA cannot be ruled out.

11. External links
Links to streaming services, SoundCloud or a provider for voluntary support (“buy me a coffee”) are simple links. Data is only transferred when you click such a link; from then on, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.
12. Astral Dominion
The game Astral Dominion runs entirely in your browser. Saved games and settings are stored exclusively in your browser’s local storage and are not transferred to us or any third party. You can delete them at any time by removing the site data in your browser.
13. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by “https://” and the padlock icon in your browser’s address bar.
14. Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)
Where processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. You may withdraw any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future.
